For younger children, basic learning centers about Shabbat, holiday stories and traditions. This can include making crafts, games and songs but also food preparations, candle lighting and story telling.
As children grow older they are introduced to basic Hebrew reading. Torah stories, Hebrew songs and learning about holiday observances are also taught.
For older children there are learning centers focusing on preparing for Bar/Bat Mitzvah's. The children at this phase learn Jewish history through classic text. They are immersed in teachings from Jewish figures. History time lines are learned and they become more acquainted with Jewish spirituality. They master their Hebrew language and ritual skills and learn to become responsible people in their communities.

Even still, some schools offer family classes that teach family centered skills and holiday and Shabbat celebrations. By brining the family together, it shows that preparations are shared in family life. Showing that faith, love and values are an important part of being a family.
For adults, some schools may offer programs for text study and discussion. Reviewing the Jewish calendar and hearing Jewish folklore can also be part of adult classes.
